In 2013, I was juggling a full-time job and a part-time virtual assistant position. It was during that time I had a realization—I could be doing something for myself. I wasn’t looking to build an empire or start a business; I just wanted to take control of my own potential.
At one of my jobs, I felt held back—not because I wasn’t capable, but because I wasn’t given the opportunity to help that business grow the way I knew it could. That was when I had an aha moment—the only limitations in my life were the ones I put on myself.
So, I started a side hustle. Not with dreams of being an entrepreneur, but just as a way to make a little extra cash doing something I enjoyed.
